The first night in Taormina
The first group of Montclair in Sicily students, our first night in Taormina! The picture is a little late, but never the less important. At the time of this picture, we had just arrived at Hotel President Splendid and were going out for our first Sicilian meal. Our mouths were watering! And, it turned out to be well worth the wait; we had platters of gnocchi, frutta di mare (seafood salad), swordfish, spaghetti normale, and much much more! This evening was only the beginning of our month full of Sicilian culture!
